It's a long time until we see spring here - our two snowiest months (March and April) are yet to come. But this photo gives me something to look forward to!

I at one time visited Texas quite a lot. I use to go to Houston in January and wonder why the patio areas were closed in 70 degree F temperatures. In Dallas I visited,I think in Febuary or could have been early March, for a taste of spring before I returned to snow here.Is all that changing?

Well I clicked and saw the name but I STILL don't know what that is! Such an odd flower! But very beautiful, of course, and very well photographed.
