This week's SKYWATCH FRIDAY post is the view of a silhouetted birdhouse from Pawley's Island, South Carolina. Talk about prime real estate!

The "condo" makes a great silhouette against that gorgeous sky!

those birds usually get the best views - even from home, it seems!

Ooh- my favourite picture this week - stunning - I need a pad with a view like that! Oh, and sorry for the chilly blast from Alberta!

this is a splendid skywatch photo. the colors are dreamy and I love the silhouette. I cannot get that with my point and shoot. I saw on tonight's weather report that it is colder in Dallas than Anchorage right now. this is pretty unusual weather. I know quite a few people from WI that have had some troubles getting to Texas for the Super Bowl because of the weather, and the local reporters who traveled there to cover it are appearing in parkas each night! thanks for visiting my blog, I'm honored. I hope your weather returns to normal very soon!

John love the fact that you open their eyes(middle schoolers) about the natural wonders of our world. I try to teach my grandchilren to respect and appreciate Mother Nature and all her gifts to the earth.Children are the keepers of our future.

Very nice picture. Couldn't have painted a more appropriate sky.
